Beretta jumps to defence of Inter Milan coach Mourinho

Marco Beretta has surprisingly jumped to the defence of underfire Inter Milan coach Jose Mourinho.

Beretta, who was axed by Lecce on March 9, has stuck up for the man who once mocked him by labelling him "Barnetta."

"I think that he is a good Coach and I also like him a lot as a person," the Milan native told Radio Kiss Kiss.

"It is true that he talks a lot, but I think that's because he is in charge of a big team and he is exposed to the Press more than others.

"And when you are in his position of talking a lot I think it can happen that you exaggerate.

"To be honest I think he says things that many of us would like to say but which have never been said."
