Emil Dantchev was invited to watch Manchester City, rumoured to be interested in Berbatov, play West Ham. But he claimed he did not attend the game, saying only that he was in the country for "business".

And on Berbatov's future, Dantchev told the Daily Express: "There are 10 days until the end of the transfer window, then everybody will know where he will be."

Other than Manchester United and City, Newcastle, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich could also enter the bidding in the summer - if Berbatov stays until then.
