David Bentley insists he's happy with his decision to swap Blackburn Rovers for Tottenham in the summer.
"I always wanted to play for Spurs and I wasn't interested in being a big fish in a little pond. I want to play in a team full of stars because that can only make you better," said the winger.
"I want my progression to go hand in hand with the clubs. I didn't want to go to a club where you are just another player with a squad number.
"I could never play football to just do a job and go through the motions. I want to challenge myself. I either love playing or hate it so there is never any middle ground.
"Sometimes there is so much rubbish in football you can lose the purity of the game. Sometimes people forget about the happiness of playing."
