Christian Benteke is out of Aston Villa's festive programme.
The Belgian striker has been struggling with hip and knee injuries and has returned to Belgium for treatment.
The injuries mean he will miss the Boxing Day game against Crystal Palace, Saturday's match with Swansea and the New Year's Day fixture with Sunderland.
