Tottenham have confirmed that Nabil Bentaleb has signed a new contract with the club.
The 20-year old midfielder has put pen to a five-year deal which will see him remain at White Hart Lane until 2020.
Algeria international Bentaleb made 35 appearances in all competitions for Spurs last season and was delighted to commit himself to the North London club for the next phase of his career.
“I'd like to say thanks to the club, thanks to my family and thanks to the fans for the support," he said via Twittter.
"I've had some ups & downs but most importantly I've learned a lot & I'll continue to learn."
A Tottenham club statement read: "The club is delighted to announce that Nabil Bentaleb has signed a new five-year contract, which runs until 2020."
