Tottenham midfielder Nabil Bentaleb is pleased with an opening day victory at West Ham United.
The teenager played 90 minutes in the 1-0 win.
"It's always good to start with a win," he told the Spurs website. "It was a tough game, it wasn't an easy one. We started well in the first 10 minutes but after that we had a man sent off and it was hard for us.
"But we believed until the end and finally scored a winner. It shows we are strong as a team. We showed a lot of determination and desire to win the game. We didn't give up and that's a really positive thing for the rest of the season."
