Darren Bent says Tottenham's rise up the table has been "massive".
"That's massive for us," he beamed after victory over Manchester City. "It wasn't nice seeing us bottom of the league, especially with the calibre of player we have here.
"We showed real belief to get the three points at City and deserved the win.
"Even though we went 1-0 down you could see we were playing well before they scored. We kept the ball, created chances and they scored against the run of play.
"As soon as we got level, I was sure we would go on to win the game - that's the belief we've got at the moment.
"I was delighted to score but the main thing is that we got the three points and we're off the bottom of the table."
As for his own game, 'Benty' added on Tottenham's website: "I feel sharp as ever. I'm playing games and that is the key. I always felt if I played the games I'd get the goals."
