Benjani Mwaruwari has left Blackburn Rovers.
The Daily Star Sunday says former Manchester City striker Benjani, 32, left the club last week after being disappointed with the terms offered to him.
The Zimbabwe international is now a free agent and favours staying in England.
A return to France could also come into the reckoning for Benjani.
