Benjani Mwaruwari isn't about to leave Blackburn Rovers just yet.

Rovers boss Steve Kean is ready to hand a new deal to Benjani.

The former Manchester City man failed to reach the required number of games which would have activated another year.

But Kean has decided the striker, 32, will be a useful squad man.
