Rafa Benitez is waiting in the wings at Aston Villa.

Villa are expected to hold talks with Norwich City boss Paul Lambert today, but they also have fall-back options.

The Daily Mail says they are understood to be Brighton's Gus Poyet and former Liverpool boss Benitez, if they cannot get Lambert.
