Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez has turned over his backroom staff with some major changes.

Reserves manager Gary Ablett will be replaced after three years in the job whilst U18 manager Hugh McAuley will depart despite leading the team to the FA Youth Cup final.

Other youth coaches Dave Lever and Dave Shannon will also be departing.

Meanwhile, former Reds hero Kenny Dalglish will return to the club in an ambassador/adviser role and Gary McAllister is being considered for a coaching role.
