Real Madrid coach Rafa Benitez is impressed by Sergio Ramos as his captain on preseason in Melbourne.
Ramos continues to be linked with Manchester United.
But Benitez says: "Sergio is a sensational trainer. I'd been told that he was a great professional but it's been really pleasing to see how dedicated he is and how hard he works every day. I think the president has said - maybe not publicly but I've read it somewhere - that he's going to stay here.
"If that happens I'll be the happiest man in the world because he's a top pro, a great player, and based on the commitment and motivation I've observed in him, I think he can be a great captain."
