Napoli coach Rafa Benitez is calm over his contract situation.

Benitez was speaking after their 2-2 draw with Empoli.

"We had initial talks and must wait for the right moment to continue discussing the renewal. Right now we have to focus on the games. I don't think my contract situation can influence the team.

"You can't say this squad isn't trying, as we've done well on many occasions, but need to avoid making these mistakes."
