Napoli boss Rafa Benitez has defended their campaign this season.

Napoli are sitting fifth in the Serie A standings, but their Coach refuses to see the campaign in a negative light.

"This season things are going pretty well," he told Cope.

"So far, we have already won the Italian Super Cup against an adversary of the level of Juventus. This is something very important and I want to highlight it.

"We're also in the semi-finals of the Coppa Italia. After a 1-1 draw away against Lazio in the first leg, now we'll be playing to make it into another final.

"And we're in the quarter-finals of the Europa League. It's been 26 years since the last time this club made it so far in a continental competition.

"Not since the times of Diego Armando Maradona did the club reach a similar level."
