Inter Milan boss Rafa Benitez has made president Massimo Moratti an amazing ultimatum. Benitez is threatening to quit Inter if they do not buy next month.
"I need support now," he declared. "We know that there are tired players and the club knows we need at least three new buys to keep going.
"We need to sign these reinforcements right away, not in the middle or the end of January, but immediately. We have many games to catch up on and need the extra men now.
"I was promised three new signings and nobody arrived. Now there are three options available to us.
"Inter can buy three new players plus a defender to replace Walter Samuel. We can carry on like this to the end of the season, in which case I'll be made to feel like the only one responsible for the situation.
"The third option is that Inter can reach an agreement with my agent."
