Benitez: Liverpool defence was total disaster
Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez branded his defence a "total disaster" in their Champions League defeat to Fiorentina.
The Sun says, speaking with French TV, Benitez rapped: "Our defence for Fiorentina's first goal was a total disaster.
"The Premier League and the Champions League are different competitions. The first is played on endurance and the other on direct elimination.
"Our squad is good enough but during the year there will be injuries we'll have to manage."

no its not hyppia's absence its alot of things. and rafa has to accept this and address it why is it happening? Its not isolated to the champions league we've been ***** poor every premier league game. Carra wow he's really dropped for whatever reason. I like Insua but the kid is a liability defensively and sadly doesn't offer alot going forward.
Should've kept Hyypia. Leverkusen in charge in Germany, much cause of Hyypia's influence...
I must agree with Rafa on this one , but hey who is the coach as Liverpool doh.
