Benitez: Liverpool can't beat Man Utd, Chelsea for title on merit
Rafa Benitez has stunned Liverpool fans by admitting they're unlikely to win the title this season.
Benitez said: “For us to win the league we need Chelsea, Man United and Arsenal to mess up their season.
"It is very rare that three teams all mess up. So there’s no point waiting for our direct adversaries to slip up because it won’t happen.
“They all have a lot greater financial means than us.”
He added: “For me, Valencia and Liverpool are similar — for them to win, the bigger clubs have to do badly.
“When I won La Liga with Valencia that’s what happened, Real Madrid and Barcelona were in transition, so it was easier.”

I am a Liverpool fan and I believe that as long as Rafa is in charge, he will be more concerned about the Champions League, not the EPL. I think Rafa is the one who will hurt Liverpool by dropping players at crucial times. I am so upset that he is extending his deal at Anfield.
If you would just look at the source of this article you would find out that this is yet another load of crap by the sun and tribalfootball...
rafa just swap with mourinho and u go to inter where ac milan and juve can mess up their seasons. what dont u have that chel and manu have? u have everything and atleast now u have every player u bought yourself. what else do u want?
