Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez has dismissed reports skipper Steven Gerrard is unsettled at Anfield.

Benitez insisted: "Stevie knows the ideas we have. I can't explain every single movement but he knows all our scouts are working all around the world.

"I am sure he can fulfil everything he wants here. Sometimes that can be done faster than others but it's clear we are progressing.

"But he is really happy here, 100 per cent committed. He will be here for a long time."
