Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez plans to take his squad to Spain to help celebrate Levante's centenary.
The Segunda Liga club have approached Liverpool about the match and Benitez is eager to commit his squad to the game.
"The first thing is to congratulate Levante on their hundredth birthday. I will do everything on my part for Liverpool to go to Valencia. There are timing problems in the preseason and it is difficult, but when we plan, this proposal will be treated with the utmost affection by the bonds that unite me to this city that has given me so much.
"I will do everything possible and if we can be there, I will be happy," said Benitez.
The match is expected to take place in August next year.
