Rafael Benitez has set a goal for Liverpool to finish in the top four and will sacrifice winning other silverware to do so.
The Spaniard said that the Reds can still make their way into Champions League calculations for next season despite sitting 7th on the league table and he will make it his goal to get them there even if it means snubbing competitions like the FA Cup and Europa League.
"The key now is to finish in the top four to make sure we are in the Champions League group stage next season," Benitez said.
"We must concentrate on the next game and that is in the Premier League. Afterwards, if we progress in the Europa League, okay, we can still win a trophy.
"But we have to change our target. We have to think about the league and finishing in the top four.
"Only then can we also think about the Europa League and the FA Cup."
