Rafa Benitez has jumped to the defence of Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish.

Benitez said Liverpool's current manager Dalglish can be a success despite recent results because he enjoys such goodwill at the club.

"Kenny has a great advantage because he has the fans behind him and especially the owners are supporting him and I think he can do a good job," said Benitez.
