Benitez convinced Chelsea need two more top drawer signings

Chelsea boss Rafa Benitez feels they're still two signings short.

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich last week sanctioned the £7million signing of striker Demba Ba from Newcastle, but Benitez does not believe that is enough.

Having seen his team blow a chance to get back into the Premier League title race by losing to QPR, interim boss Benitez is worried the current Chelsea squad could finish the season trophyless.

That would cost Benitez any chance of landing the Stamford Bridge job permanently. Benitez has complained that two or three Chelsea players have been forced to play too many games and is desperate to strengthen the club's midfield options.
