Following the 1-0 Europa League semi-final loss to Ateltico Madrid, Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez confirmed that star striker Fernando Torres is happy at the club.

As rumours again surface that the Spain international is set to depart Anfield, Benitez shook off any speculation by saying the injured goalscorer was content in the red of Liverpool.

"Torres is happy. The thing now is for Torres to be ready as soon as possible," Benitez said.

"Torres has said from the start that he is very happy at Anfield, so hopefully he will be okay and can score a lot of goals for the club in the future."
