Inter Milan boss Rafa Benitez says fatigue was a factor in their 0-0 draw with Juventus.
Benitez admits tiredness got the better of Inter and he was disappointed to move Samuel Eto'o.
"The team played very well on Wednesday and I had faith in that side, so stuck with them," he said of fielding the same starting XI that beat Werder Bremen 4-0.
"Jonathan Biabiany was injured early on, but we tried to keep the same basic shape."
There had to be two changes, as Ivan Cordoba's injury moved Cristian Chivu to centre-back, while Eto'o had to abandon his favoured centre-forward role to Diego Milito.
"We had decided to start with this system because Milito has been out for a week and only really started training with the squad yesterday. Eto'o was doing very well as a centre-forward and we had to change, but he also did very well on the left.
"We have players of quality between the lines like Sneijder, so the balance of the team is the most important thing and it's something we have at the moment.
"We saw today that adjusting during a game is not easy, especially as Milito had that injury for over a week and made his comeback in an intense match. He still did his work and had two great chances.
"I am satisfied as we played well against an excellent side and had our chances to win.
"We have some injured key players and when they are back, the strength in depth will be greater."
