Benin international striker Romauld Boco has parted company with Accrington Stanley by mutual consent.
The 22-year-old has recently returned from international duty with Benin at the African Cup of Nations and leaves the club after scoring just eight goals in 88 appearances.
Boco signed from French outfit Chamois Niortais in 2005 and, after helping Stanley to promotion from the Conference, he went on to score the club's first Football League goal in 44 years.
Chief executive Rob Heys told the club's official website: "Romu hasn't been happy for a while for a number of reasons, and has ultimately decided that he wants to move on.
"He is a great lad who I know will go on and do well in football and in life in general. He scored our first league goal last season and it was fantastic to watch him represent his country last month in the African Nations tournament."
