Benfica midfielder Hassan Yebda is joining Portsmouth.

Yebda will spend the rest of this season on loan at Portsmouth, the Portuguese club have confirmed.

Yebda joined Benfica from Le Mans last summer and established himself as a regular squad member under Quique Sanchez Flores last term.

Blackburn Rovers and Everton had also been linked with the midfield schemer.
