Benfica winger Nicolas Gaitan has laughed off the interest of Manchester United.

Back in Argentina with the national squad, Gaitan was asked about praise coming his way from United manager Sir Alex Ferguson.

"The closest I'm going to get to Manchester United is when I go there to play in the Champions League," smiled Gaitan.

"I just want to play well for Benfica and reach the final 16."
