Benfica are interested in Deportivo La Coruna winger Andres Guardado.
The Mexico international is ready to leave the Riazor this summer and is seen at Benfica as a direct replacement for new Real Madrid signing Angel di Maria.
Flush with cash raised from Di Maria's sale, Benfica will have no problem meeting Depor's €15 million asking price.
For the moment, Depor president August Cesar Lendoiro insists "no offers have arrived" for Guardado.
