Benfica defender Miguel Vitor has been linked with a move to Portsmouth in January and admitted he would love the chance to play in the Premier League.

The 20-year old said he would relish the opportunity to come to England on a loan deal but only if he had the blessing of his current club.

"If it's good for Benfica and for me then I would like to go on loan," he told the Daily Star.

Vitor has been closely linked with the south coast club ever since Avram Grant took over the manager's role from Paul Hart last month.
