Benfica's Pereira sends Champions League warning to Chelsea

Benfica full-back Maxi Pereira suggests the Portuguese club are still in with a massive chance of progressing to the Champions League semi-finals.

Last night, Pereira and his teammates were beaten 1-0 by Chelsea at home in the quarter-final first leg but the Uruguay international feels it was an unfair result and is determined to produce a reversal in the return fixture at Stamford Bridge.

"We did not deserve to be beaten 1-0 after that match," Pereira told the club's official website.

"It seemed to me also that there was a penalty but that is football.

"I am sure we can still progress. The team usually plays well and we will go into the second leg with hope because this is not over."
