Benfica defender Rafik Halliche has emerged as a strong target for Fulham.
The 23-year old Algeria international is being heavily linked with a £1.8million switch to Craven Cottage but will first have a trial with the club according to recent reports.
Halliche, who has also been linked with Arsenal, admits he is on his way out of Benfica but did not specify exactly where he would end up.
"I am a Benfica player but I am leaving and I haven't yet signed for another club. I turned down Guimaraes because I think I will have better offers before the end of the transfer window. As for Fulham, Arsenal and all the other clubs mentioned, all I can say for now is that there is nothing finalised," he said.
