Benfica's Estadio da Luz to host 2014 Champions League final

Portuguese ground Estadio da Luz has won the rights to host the 2014 UEFA Champions League final.

The home of Benfica, known in English as the Stadium of Light, will play host to the decider in two years time after the 2012 final at Allianz Arena in Munich and 2013's return to London's Wembley.

The 65,000-capacity venue opened in 2003 and has hosted the Euro2004 final in which Greece surprisingly defeated hosts Portugal.

In addition to this announcement, it has also been revealed that the 2014 Europa League final will take place at the 41,000-capacity new Juventus Stadium in Turin.
