Benfica president tells Man Utd he wants straight cash for Nicolas Gaitan

Benfica are demanding a straight cash deal with Manchester United over Nicolas Gaitan's sale.

Record, which first revealed the 'gentlemen's agreement' between the two clubs over Gaitan in January, says Benfica are reluctant to take players in part exchange.

United rate Gaitan at €25 million and are willing to include Fabio da Silva and Kiko Macheda to sweeten the deal.

But Benfica president Luis Filipe Vieira wants a straight cash agreement and is insisting closer to €35 million for the Argentine.
