Benfica must up their bid if they're to land Espanyol striker Luis Garcia.
Benfica's Spanish coach Quique Sanchez Flores and sports chief Rui Costa have made the capture of Garcia a top priority and have already failed with an offer of £6 million.
Espanyol are seeking closer to £10 million for the Spanish centre-forward.
