Benfica are chasing Manchester United goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard.
The Daily Star Sunday says United have confirmed Lindegaard, 30, is free to leave Old Trafford after failing to make a single appearance so far this season.
Benfica attempted to sign Lindegaard in the last transfer window and have been alerted by his agent that the player may now be willing to resurrect the deal.
