Benfica management are convinced of beating Champions League opponents Chelsea.

The Portuguese have already dumped Manchester United out of the competition.

Rui Costa, the club's sporting director, declared: "We have our weapons and we fear no-one."

Costa's "weapons" include Argentinian Nicolas Gaitan and Paraguayan striker Oscar Cardozo, and he added: "We are not scared to play at home first.

"We are ready for what it takes. Nowadays, playing at home in the second leg has less importance."
