Benfica interest confirmed for Torino defender Ogbonna
Benfica have joined the transfer scramble for Torino defender Angelo Ogbonna.
The Italy defender is expected to be sold by Serie B Toro this summer.
“Manuel Rui Costa called me three weeks ago,” agent Giovanni Branchini told Portuguese newspaper A Bola.
“He had received some good references on Ogbonna, but didn’t know I was his agent. We talked about the characteristics of the player, nothing more.
“Many Italian clubs are tracking Ogbonna and there could be developments in the next few days.
“Juventus and Roma? These are concrete options.”
