Benfica fullback Grimaldo excited about Napoli move after chatting with Spanish trio

Benfica fullback Alejandro Grimaldo is keen on a move to Napoli.

While talk of a deal already being in place is premature, negotiations are ongoing between the two clubs about a fee for the Spain U21 international.

The outline of an agreement worth €30m has been reached and now the final details are being ironed out.

For his part, reports TMW, Grimaldo is keen on the move as he's a fan of the football employed by Napoli coach Maurizio Sarri.

Grimaldo has also asked Napoli's Spaniards Jose Callejon, Pepe Reina and Raul Albiol about life in Naples and is now excited by the prospect of moving to Serie A.

A deal is more likely at the end of the season, however, rather than this month.
