Benfica could pursue Swansea boss Laudrup

Portuguese club Benfica are set to go after Swansea City boss Michael Laudrup.

The Eagles are losing patience with Jorge Jesus according to reports and may lodge a massive offer for the Danish tactician if they fail to beat Pacos de Ferreira this weekend.

Laudrup was linked with a Liberty Stadium departure during the summer but committed to the Swans, however, a source in Portugal told SportsDirect News that Benfica may test his loyalty.

"Michael Laudrup could find himself in a tug of war between Swansea and Benfica if Jesus leaves. Benfica will look to get someone in ASAP. They won't waste time making an appointment," the source said.
