New Benfica coach Quique Sanchez Flores is ready to raid his old club Valencia for midfielder David Albelda.

The Spaniard was unveiled as new coach at Benfica yesterday and already is working with his sports director Rui Costa to lure Albelda to Lisbon for the new season.

Spain international Albelda hopes to secure a release from his Valencia contract this week - which would give him free agency status.
