Genoa goalkeeper Marco Amelia is on the brink of a move to Benfica.

A Bola says Benfica have made Amelia a priority summer transfer target and can sign the experienced keeper on a free transfer.

Genoa are prepared to cut loose Amelia as they're close to agreement with AZ Alkmaar for their Argentine goalkeeper Sergio Romero.
