Benfica are moving for Sporting Gijon defender Alberto Botia.
The Spain international is expected to be sold by Sporting this summer and has been linked with West Ham United.
Record says Benfica are this week stepping up their bid for Botia after Barcelona's buy-back option expired on the weekend.
