Benfica midfielder Nicolas Gaitan insists he is not thinking about consistent speculation linking him with the likes of Manchester United and Liverpool.
The Argentine is emerging as a top-class player following his move from Boca Juniors to the Portuguese giants and is constantly attracting interest from English clubs, particularly Champions League group stage opponents United, but has made it clear that he wants to achieve plenty of success with his current club before even thinking about moving on.
"The day of my arrival at Benfica, I fulfilled a dream," he told Abola.
"But now things have changed and I love the club, my objective is to stay and to help my team-mates achieve big success.
"I want to make history with Benfica and to win titles.
"People thought that I was just the new Angel Di Maria, but in this time I have demonstrated that I am different.
"I don't get preoccupied with the rumours about links to other clubs - I am happy with the praise, but I am focussed on Benfica."
