Benevento president Oreste Vigorito is still bouncing over their deal for Bacary Sagna.

The former Manchester City and Arsenal fullback joined Benevento as a free agent last week.

Vigorito stated before their clash with Roma: "How did I convince Sagna? Maybe he was drunk at that time!

"In fact I talked to him while he was on vacation in Naples and I think I gave him the urge to come back to his childhood and pursue a dream. He's only been here for a few days, but he's already an example for everyone at the club.

"He's a great man before being a great footballer."
