Nicklas Bendtner is determined to return for Arsenal ahead of schedule.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger fears Bendtner's long-running groin problem could keep him out until early November.
But Bendtner is confident he will be back quicker than expected for the injury-hit Gunners.
Danish striker Bendtner said: 'I have been training with the ball for a week now, and I am enjoying it a lot. It feels like a very big step forward to me, and I see light at the end of the tunnel.
'We have made a plan, regarding my comeback, but I want to keep the dates to myself. But it will be in near future even though I am not quite there yet.'
