Nicklas Bendtner has hit out at Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger.

The Dane says he was ready to leave the Gunners over the summer, only for Wenger to block his move.

"It was not in my plans to stay at Arsenal. I was extremely disappointed when Wenger called me because I was ready to go. I did not think they wanted to keep me," Bendtner told Berlingske.

"Everything was in place, three clubs were waiting for me to say 'yes' to them."
