Sunderland's on-loan Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner hopes to out-do Aston Villa ace Darren Bent on his return to the Stadium of Light.
All the attention will be on Bent as he appears back on Wearside for the first time since controversially quitting for Aston Villa back in January.
Bendtner said: "I guess there are parallels with my situation at Arsenal and his at Tottenham. They're a lot of things that happened and stuff like that, but at the end of it it was just disappointing not to be playing more.
"I also had my big injury, which was a big influence. If you don't play on a regular basis, once you have had an injury like that, you just have a chance to come back properly.
"I never felt I had that chance, as maybe others did. But I am not the type of guy who complains. I am just happy I have got a new chance, a new lease of life and a new start at a place where I would like to be.
"I was not here when Darren was. I know that it's something the fans are talking about. It's important that we as a team don't get swept up in any of that."
