Rangers midfielder Thomas Bendiksen is keen to sign a new contract with the club says his agent.
The 22-year old Norwegian started his first league game for the Scottish champions on the weekend despite arriving at Ibrox more than four years ago and it now appears that he will put pen to a new deal according to Jim Solbakken.
"We have received an offer from Rangers, but it has not gone any further than that at the moment," said Solbakken. "I am planning to come to Glasgow next week to try to sort something out.
"Thomas would prefer to stay at Rangers. Thomas has been at Rangers for four-and-a-half years now, though, and has worked really hard towards the goal of playing for the club.
"However, he played at the weekend and we'll discuss whether the manager is happy with his performances before trying to get a deal agreed before the New Year."
