Yossi Benayoun insists he has no regrets joining Liverpool this season.

The Israel international has struggled for first team action, but told Liverpool's matchday programme: "I knew when I came to Liverpool I would have to be patient.

"I knew that I would not play in every game, but I am happy with how things have gone. I have played in games where maybe people didn't expect me to. I have played in over 30 games this season and that is important to me. It is good to play and have an important role in the team."
