Benayoun feels established as Liverpool mainstay

Yossi Benayoun believes he's now established himself as a Liverpool mainstay.

Now the Israeli wants the club to repay him by landing the FA Cup.

Benayoun was part of the West Ham side that were leading Liverpool 3-2 in the 2006 final with seconds left when Steven Gerrard's drive took the game to penalties. The Reds then won the shootout.

He said: "It is a very beautiful competition and Liverpool once took the cup away from me with West Ham so they need to bring me back at least this one trophy.

"I've got my confidence as a Liverpool player now and I hope we can win the FA Cup this season."

Liverpool travel to Reading in the third round tomorrow and Benayoun added: "It will be difficult but we will be OK if we show our quality."
